Easy Green Smoothie

Get your glow on with this super quick and easy green smoothie!


 I didn't think this blog would ever feature a super "healthy" recipe like this. Because what is healthy? Healthy to me, is enjoying the foods you love whilst still getting in your fruit and veg where possible. And I actually love fruit and veg so maybe my insides are a little more glowy than others! Anyways, this smoothie wss supposed to be a smoothie bowl, I mean I got it wrong let's be honest, you can't have a smoothie bowl without the toppings (they sunk FYI) so therefore it is nice just a smoothie :) The best part was actually how much I liked it, it was a nice change having a filling drink for my breakfast instead of bowl food. It's a very easy smoothie to make, yes it's green because it is full of the good stuff which won't hurt you. And you can always have this on the side of your favourite breakfast, for you know "health" lols. Perfect to make for an on-the-go breakfast or snack or whenever you just fancy a smoothie really. 

My green smoothie is naturally sweet from the pineapple, creamy from the banana and green from those lovely spinach leaves, yum!

Serves: 1


Ingredients

1 Frozen banana
80g Pineapple
2 Big handfuls of Spinach
50ml Soya milk or water
Optional add-ins
Chia Seeds
½ Avocado - extra creaminess and green!



Method

✿Get the banana out of the freezer for a few minutes prior to let it soften a bit. 
✿Then simply throw all of the ingredients in the blender and blend till combined.Add more liquid if need be. Pour into your glass and serve. Enjoy!
