Toast with Sweet Toppings - 6 ways!

Healthy and delicious sweet toast toppings perfect for breakfast!

I've been getting into toast recently ever since we got some fancy bread - we're usually pretty low key with Lidl's basic loaf - but we got given a whole loaf of taste the difference bloomer so I thought I would create some ideas for what to put on toast, change it up a bit and keep things sweet, to satisfy my all-time sweet tooth.
It was a nice change having toast for breakfast instead of my usual yoghurt bowl, the warm crunchiness was well received and the amount of different topping I could choose from, so exciting!
You can have these not only for breakfast, like as a snack, for lunch, dessert, a side for dinner if you will, I know breakfast food isn't just for breakfast. Plus these are all very quick and easy to whip up in no time at all. I've only written the recipe for the first one, as the rest are pretty self-explanatory :)

Peanut Butter and Raspberry Chia Jam

2 Slices of fancy bread - or normal bread ;)
1tbsp Peanut Butter - I like Pip & Nut, Mani Life, Meridian,
Raspberry Chia Jam
250g Frozen Raspberries
2tbsp Chia seeds
1tbsp Lemon Juice
A splash of water
2tbsp Maple syrup

✿Make the jam first Heat the raspberries in a small saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until they are heated through and beginning to break down and bubble.  Use a spoon or potato masher to mash the raspberries to your desired consistency.
✿Stir in the chia seeds and lemon juice until combined.  Then taste, and stir in the maple syrup. If too thick and sticking, add a splash of water and stir.
✿Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.  (The jam will thicken considerably as it cools.)
✿Put the bread in the toaster, then spread on the peanut butter and top with a couple of tablespoons of the jam. ✿Drizzle on more peanut butter if you like. Store the leftover jam in a sealed container in the fridge - use it to top a yoghurt bowl, porridge or pancakes! :)
